X2PIC Terms of Service
Last updated: September 28, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the X2PIC Chrome extension, the website x2pic.buzz and any purchase of X2PIC Pro. By installing the extension, using the website or buying Pro, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use X2PIC.
The short version
The extension is free to use. Pro is an optional paid upgrade sold through Creem, our merchant of record; prices include applicable taxes. The Monthly and Yearly subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial — cancel before it ends and you are not charged. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel anytime in the Creem Customer Portal, and cancelling before your renewal date avoids the next charge. The first payment of each purchase comes with a 14-day full refund; automatic renewal charges are non-refundable. Use X2PIC lawfully and respect other people's content. This summary is for convenience; the full Terms below apply.
1. Who we are
X2PIC is operated by X2PIC Web App Service, based in Shanghai, China ("we", "us", "our"). "You" means the person using X2PIC or buying Pro.
"Extension" means the X2PIC Chrome extension. "Website" means x2pic.buzz. "Pro" means the optional paid features described on our pricing page. "Service" means the Extension, the Website and Pro together.
You can contact us at timojo.sun@gmail.com.
2. Using the free extension
X2PIC is free to use. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the Extension, subject to these Terms. The free version includes, among other things, pick mode, capturing a post together with selected replies, automatic stitching of long posts, six frame styles, annotation tools and all export options. Features may change over time.
The X2PIC software (including its source code), the X2PIC name and logo, and the website content are proprietary and belong to us; all rights reserved. Apart from the license above, these Terms do not give you any rights in them.
3. X2PIC Pro and payments through Creem
Pro is an optional upgrade. It currently adds the Aurora output style and custom watermark text. The plans and prices on offer are shown on our pricing page.
Pro is sold through Creem, which acts as our merchant of record and reseller. When you buy Pro, Creem processes your payment, handles sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt or invoice. Creem's Buyer Terms and Privacy Notice apply to the checkout and payment; these Terms apply to your use of X2PIC and Pro. We never see or store your card or payment details.
4. Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and already include any applicable taxes, such as VAT or sales tax; no tax is added on top at checkout. Creem, as our merchant of record, calculates these taxes based on your location and remits them to the tax authorities.
We may change prices in the future. A price change never affects a payment you have already made. For an active subscription, a new price applies only from a later renewal, and you will be told in advance so you can cancel before it takes effect.
5. Subscriptions, free trials, automatic renewal and cancellation
The Monthly and Yearly plans are subscriptions. They renew automatically at the end of each billing period (every month or every year), and your payment method is charged the price that applies at that time, until you cancel.
Free trial. The Monthly and Yearly plans start with a 7-day free trial. The trial starts when you complete checkout, where Creem collects your payment method; nothing is charged at that point. Your license key is emailed right after checkout, so Pro works during the trial. When the trial ends, you are charged the plan's price and the subscription then renews every month or every year as described above — unless you cancel before the trial ends, in which case you are not charged at all. The Lifetime plan has no trial.
You can cancel anytime — including during the free trial — yourself in the Creem Customer Portal: sign in with the email address you used at checkout (Creem sends you a sign-in link) and cancel the subscription. Cancelling stops all future renewals and charges. Renewal charges are non-refundable (see section 6), so to avoid being charged for the next billing period, cancel before your renewal date. You can also email us and we will help. Uninstalling the extension does not cancel a subscription or a trial.
The Lifetime plan is a single one-time payment. It never renews, so there is nothing to cancel, and it includes all current and future Pro features.
The extension checks your license with Creem about once a day and when Chrome starts. When Creem reports that a license is no longer active — for example after a refund, or when a subscription has ended — Pro features are turned off at the next check. Free features keep working.
6. 14-day refund policy
If you are not happy with Pro for any reason, email timojo.sun@gmail.com within 14 days of the first payment of your purchase and we will arrange a full refund of that payment — no questions asked. The first payment is:
- for the Monthly and Yearly plans, the first charge of the subscription, taken when the 7-day free trial ends (a free trial is not a payment);
- for the Lifetime plan, the one-time purchase.
Renewal charges are non-refundable. The automatic renewal charges of the Monthly and Yearly plans — every charge after the first payment — are not refunded. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel the subscription in the Creem Customer Portal before the renewal date (see section 5); cancelling stops all future renewals.
Please write from, or mention, the email address you used at checkout and include your order number if you have it, so we can find your purchase. Refunds are issued by Creem to your original payment method. How long the money takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
A refunded license is deactivated, and Pro is turned off at the extension's next license check. If you are refunding the first payment of a subscription and do not want to be charged again, also cancel the subscription (see section 5) or ask us to cancel it for you.
Other payments — renewal charges, and a first payment whose 14 days have passed — are non-refundable, except for duplicate charges or billing errors, which we will always correct. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law, including any statutory right to a refund.
7. License keys and devices
Each purchase includes one license key, emailed to you by Creem right after checkout. To activate Pro, open the extension's Settings page, paste the key and click Activate.
A license key can be active on up to 3 devices (Chrome installations) at the same time. Deactivating a device in Settings frees a slot for another device.
A license key is for your own use. You may not share, publish, sell, resell, rent or otherwise transfer license keys, or use any method to go beyond the device limit. We may deactivate a license key that has been shared publicly, resold, obtained fraudulently, or used to abuse the license service.
8. Acceptable use
When you use X2PIC, you agree to:
- comply with X's terms, rules and policies and with all laws that apply to you;
- respect other people's content, copyright, trademarks and privacy when you capture, edit and share posts — for example, get permission where it is needed, and do not use captures to harass, defame, mislead or impersonate anyone;
- not tamper with, circumvent or disable license checks or device limits, or reverse engineer the Service for that purpose, in order to use Pro without a valid license;
- not abuse, overload, probe or attack the license service, for example by guessing license keys or sending automated requests;
- not use X2PIC for any unlawful purpose.
9. Your content
Captures you make with X2PIC belong to you and to the original authors of the posts they show — we claim no ownership of them. X2PIC creates captures on your device and never uploads them, so we do not see or store them.
You are responsible for how you use and share captures. Posts on X may be protected by copyright and other rights of their authors, and capturing a post does not give you any rights in it.
10. No affiliation with X Corp.
X2PIC is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp. "X", "Twitter", the X logo and the Twitter bird are trademarks of X Corp. and are used only to describe the websites the Extension works with.
11. Availability and changes to the Service
X2PIC works on x.com and twitter.com, which X Corp. can change at any time. Such changes may temporarily or permanently break some features. We make reasonable efforts to update the Extension, but we cannot guarantee that every feature will always work.
We may add, change or remove features over time.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always compatible with X.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law — for example, liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence — or your rights under mandatory consumer-protection law.
14. Termination
You can stop using X2PIC at any time by uninstalling the Extension. To stop future charges, cancel any subscription as described in section 5.
We may suspend or end your access to Pro, or deactivate a license key, if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms (for example by sharing or reselling license keys or abusing the license service). Where appropriate, we will tell you first and give you a chance to respond.
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination — such as content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — continue to apply.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice (for example on the Website) before it takes effect. Changes do not apply to payments made before they take effect.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect means you accept them.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live.
If something goes wrong, please contact us first — most problems can be solved quickly by email.
